I think Pho Bich Nga was the all-time classic, but now gone.

Pho Khan Ho in North Vancouver by Cap road and Marine was pretty good as well. May still be there.

Sign at a butcher store, "You may beat our prices, but you can't beat our meat!".

What kills me is driving through Cloverdale and seeing a butcher shop right beside the horse-racing track You really don't want to come in last there!

The best one is a restaurant in China Preparing for English-speaking visitors.

The owners ran its name through an online translator, took the result, then purchased and mounted a large sign displaying the English version of their name: Translate Server Error.

A couple years ago, I was on one of the commercial streets in south/ east vancouver (Fraser? Knight? Victoria? Kingsway), and walking down the sidewalk, I noticed a handwritten sign in a restaurant window.

Now anyone can make a typo; you quickly notice it, or soemone points it out, and you change it.
What made this especially funny, as I thought about it later, was that this sign was kinda faded, the edges a bit curled up —it had been there for a while.

The sign said:

NO PUBLIC RESTROOM.
NO PUBIC TELEPHONE.



Ha!
I don't even want to know about the pubic telephone! You can't make me talk into that.

Also, in line with the pho restaurant signs, there's a local chain of noodle places in Seattle called "What the Pho".
