Fun Things to Do in Vancouver by Myself

Excluding seeing SPs and frequenting strip clubs, is there any places one can go and hang out by himself yet still have a good time.

I like the Vancouver Art Gallery if they have a cool exhibit; but I'm a bit of a poofter. Otherwise, I'll watch a movie that I want to see but noone else is interested in and/or has already viewed. You can snowboard in the winter or do the Grouse Grind.

If you're into playing poker or other forms of gambling there's always one of the casinos like the Riverrock. If you like golfing you can usually join up with a twosome just by showing up at your favorite course. That can be a good way of meeting new people.

I would also talk to your buddies and find out what they miss about their bachelor days... and then go and do it so you can brag about how great your bachelor life is.

great ideas, but it wouldn't be as fun if I had no one else to do it with....hmmm......maybe I can hire an SP to go bungee jumping

going to the Paramount on my nights off are starting to hit my pocket hard.

Granville Island is an awsome spot to hang out. You can sit there for hours and watch people go by. Yesterday a bus load of Korean school girls showed up and we all had a great time taking pictures of anything that moved.

Go to the pound & take a dog for a walk. You have to go thru an orientation first but after that, you're set for brisk walks, big puppy smiles & let's not forget the chick magnet part!

ride a bike around stanley. i've done that alone a bunch of times and its always fun for me and lets not forget the exercise factor.

Thanks for the link VV. I didn't know such service is available in the city. I love dogs but my schedule doesn't allow it since I have to travel all the time.
