Most people are shitty drivers. We live in an age where multitasking is/was considered a good thing. no wonder people can't drive. They consider it a secondary action to their eating, texting, etc.
It's much too easy to get a license, obviously.
I prefer driving my ugly old truck as people automatically give me space.
That article reminds we of an old saying. People buy their loved ones a Volvo because it's a safe car because an accident is going to happen!
Many drivers think they are good because they rarely in an accident. It's more likely that they never see the carnage of their actions because they never use the rear view mirror to see the consequences of their actions.
