With this new law coming into effect very soon, we need to coin a new term, that describes the new way of doing business. No more charging for sex, so no more hookers in Canada. To go along with the new way of doing business under the law legally, let's rename the old hooker term to a "Harpie". Not to say it is named after any one, but Harpie can be described as:

Hooker Actually Rejecting Prostitution Inducements Every time

So when you visit a Harpie, the sex is free. any sex provided is consensual, and not for money or gain.

Simple.?

If you like it spread it, lets get ready for the big day.

We could get buttons made up for the street walkers, baseball caps for the guys, Tshirts that say I love harpies etc.

How about Perb selling T shirts for the advent of the law? Canadian Sex is Free on the t shirt!

"Harpie" is a terrible nasty term that should not be applied to all the lovely ladies of the profession.

Although somehow the term seems the fit perfectly, in both meaning and phonetics, to the current Harper government.

I was hoping that perhaps it was time to find a perfect word for this government, and "Harpie" just showed up. If rhetoric spewed by the Harper government can call everyone on this forum a "pervert" with that tone that could curdle milk, then I think we should start calling everyone that votes conservative a "Harpie".

However, your view that "all the lovely ladies" shouldn't be called harpies isn't quite correct.
Perfectly correct Ernst, in my post I was going to refer to the same. I decided to identify the ladies that really are lovely and shouldn't have the term applied to them. To identify the current government with a surprisingly good label.
I deliberately, but mistakenly left out the group of women for which (or is it witch) the term truly applies.

Now let me start that list of whom the term applies. Or maybe let's just leave the term to describe conservatives to keep the forum civil. Then we should be much more specific about the actual experiences with the ladies, and that other set of women.

lets not get too technical. Think of the spin off's, like buttons that say FREE SEX, I am a Harpie!. Or better till a T shirt that says Sex is now Free, I am a Harpie. or We are free, we are Harpies! Harpies make Free better! Free Harpies from Harper! My goodness the term is wonderful.

It can take on a whole new meaning, related to the originator of the new trade. the word sounds cute, has a ring to it, and will embody the memory of the current government in history for a long time to come.

Stephen might even like it.
