Always good to have one or two you can call up during a dry spell. Treat them good, but the understanding is always there that if either of you gets into a relationship everything is put on hold. Of course you have to be compatible in the sack, but you both realize that a serious relationship between the two of you would probably end in disaster.

I have alot of male friends and we are very close and talk to eachother about everything! I will admit that I have probably had sexual relations with about 85% of my friends(male and female)The sexual time would have haappened at the very beginging of the friendship.Somehow, it always seems that we end up just really close friends and theres no sexual tension cause we already went through that part Just for fun one time one of my best friends and I had it bad for the same girl. She was bi and suggested we have a threesome. We reluctenly agreed and when we all got into bed my buddy and I looked at eachother and just started laughing our heads off. It was like climbing into bed with my brother. Anyways the end of the story is neither of us scored and we realized,it was official, that there would never be a time when we thought of each other sexually ever again.

Yup - that 4 letter word has ruined many a good relationship. I've often taken female friends along with me when I travel for work. Too much good wine over a nice meal in some romantic city inevitably leads to the adjoining doors between hotel rooms being unlocked. All good up to that point, especially the sex because there is no baggage that comes along with it. But over time expectations change and feelings beyond just lust enter the mix and boom - another great FWB relationship bites the dust.
