limewire site??? you mean torrent site? you can still just turn on limewire and do a search for music or do a google search for torrent sites there are oodles of them out there..

maybe you should do a little more reading about P2P filesharing then you would be able to figure this all out on your own ;) .. the internet is your friend:p

The artists deserve to get paid too!

Once you know you like the artist...

Please buy the cd.
*Read the lyrics, admire the pictures and song titles*

The artist that entertains you the most is worth the investment.

Many artist allow free dowloads of their live concerts, allowing taping at their concerts with a taper section, often times giving them feeds to the sound board...

Golden rule, free music till the artist puts it out on cd... No sharing of recorded music that is in authorized distribution and don't sell your music that you recieved for free...

Let the words be yours, I'm done with mine.

At the library you can get books for free and it never ruined the publishing industry, last i checked books were still being printed.. online you can get music and other media for free it wont ruin any industry, if anything it will just force change.. welcome to the world where shit changes

I really dont understand why people cry about paying the artist, like they are poor or something??? ohhh booohoooo for the people with multiple houses and 1/4 million dollar rides.. the majority of downloading is done by teens and mostly consists of pop music, when was the last time you saw a poor pop star? so dont even try to say it hurts the industry cause that is pure bullshit.. why should one cd cost 3.99 and another cost 25.99 doesnt that tell you anything? you are being ripped of by corporations you fucking muppets:p

And every year the publishing houses and writers lobby hard to figure out a way to get royalties for library editions. Why should recording artists and writers donate their efforts? The difference between a 3.99 cd and a 25.99 cd is pretty basic. The 3.99 cd isn't selling because nobody wants it.

which will NEVER happen.. there are hundreds of lobbyists out there with futile causes, props to them for finding someone to foot their bills while they fight useless battles

sometimes that is the case but for sure not always.. simple example.. cd is released first few days high price, then price drops drastically for a few weeks then jacks back up.. they arent dropping the price because of lack of popularity they are trying to cash IN on the popularity.. trust me they are still making millions of dollars yearly.. if the artist isnt gettin paid enough they should complain to the fat cats behind the desks.
