Fred Zed dead?

I think that if this did happen.. A email from one of the moderators or someone would of been sent out.
SP411 is notorious for sending trolling email about TERB and Fred, because the owner, Chase, is a child and quite possibly one of the most dangerous board owners ever. The mods and admins there regularly pull stupid shit and I would very careful and not use the same email/password for that site that you do anywhere else.

I concur.
Regarding using the same email/password I'll explain why. Normally a server stores your password as something called a hash. I've attached a photo of what a hash looks like below in a Linux system. Linux is the most common server used for internet websites. Now if you see below "user1", the gibberish after it is the hashed/encrypted password. Now it IS possible to have a server store passwords in plain text meaning the person who is the admin of the server can see your password in plain text.
Now, imagine this. Your email is warl0ck@myemail.com and your password is P@ssw0rd1 well the admin can see this. But, let's say you reused or recycled passwords. Well the first thing I would do is go take that email and password combo to Facebook or Linkedin or anywhere else. And if you reuse passwords well I now have access to your social media. This is why you should never use your Facebook credentials, etc. to log into other sites. I'd also recommend you use a non descriptive email to log into PERB. Don't use your work email because IF PERB is breached and the login email address are stolen they'll be posted on the net and everyone can see them. In 2011, Lulzsec toasted Porn.com and released millions of emails from the site. And they were completely searchable by me, your employer or your wife.
This is a touchy subject in our industry. I imagine most review board owners are very secretive about their personal affairs, so while his members would love to know the truth, I don't know if we'll ever find out.
At the same time threads about the email were being posted on terb and perb, Fred's handle was logged in and active on merb (I have screenshots).
So, if Fred has truly passed away, he would have handed his boards over to whoever he trusted to look after them, and they will have taken over his accounts.
If Fred is still alive, he obviously doesn't care that a whole lot of people think he's dead.
One thing I know for sure is that he would never sell his boards to the one who says he now owns them.

Please edit your quote. They're posting the name of some probably innocent real woman of being Fred's wife. Whoever she is, I doubt she wants her name posted on an escort review board.

I'm sure this has been brought up before but, a few local ( Vancouver ) boards have come and gone and now, C.A.F no longer exists. Hopefully, this does not come to fruition but....where we do all go if Perb, Terb and Merb are gone forever :fear:? Backpage or Leo List? Hmmmm....Not.
Once again, this is complete bullshit, sent out to the membership of SP411 by Chase, the owner of that board and a well known troll. People, use your heads and don't fall for this crap. The "email" is coming from terb.ca email domain, which is spoofed.

That should be a clue, since terb, merb and perb switched from .ca to .cc just before Bill C-36 came into effect.
