Does anyone in here know how to set the forum time so it is correct? All my posts are done at like 4 in the morning!

Also, if I post at, let's say 4:18 pm, it says that it was posted at 7:06 am, I can understand the hour difference, but the minutes?

Just to clairify, I posted this at 6:07PM, but according to PERB, my first post in this thread was at 2:58PM today! That means that PERB is 3 hours and 9 minutes behind?

Anyone know what I am talking about, or am I crazy?

Click User CP and in the control panel click edit options. Scoll down and it will let you change your time zone. I set mine to Eastern Time even though I'm in Vancouver and it seems to set the clock to the correct time.

Yes, thanx Sir for the idea and it seems to be working.

I adjusted my time frame when I first logged on to perb. But some how I am still a few hours off.

I think the admins need to look into this. I own a VB site too and its in the admin control panel under VB options.

Good luck waiting for that, the time has been off since I've been a member here.

Thanks, sir. For the first time since I've been coming to this site, the time shown here actually has some relationship to the actual time. I was showing as being Central Time (the zone I'm in) and I seem to recall choosing that option when I first logged in, but it was always out by "x" number of hours plus an odd number of minutes. I took your advice and changed to Eastern Time and now there's exactly a one hour difference, as indeed there should be between Eastern and Central.

You have to offset your time zone selection by four hours because the admin for this board is from Totonto and all Torontonians think they are the center of the universe and the concept of GMT is completely beyond them.
