Forthcoming Books

So one of your favourite authour is putting out a book.

For a couple of years I have been waiting for the next book in Patrick Rothfuss The Kingkiller Chronicles series.

The next book in George RR Martin's Game of Thrones.

I recently watched the Dresden Files (on Prime) and Jim Butcher has books that are supposed to come out later in July and September continuing the Harry Dresden story.

So what books are you looking forward to read from your favourite authours?

I’d like to see Jared Diamond and Niall Ferguson write about the Covid virus.

Niall would write about the economic factors and Jared the social implications affecting the society. Would be interesting but that would be 5 to 10 years in in the future to see the after effects of the virus and then write a book, neat idea though.

There's a lot of good stuff coming out this year.

Dread Nation #2 (civil war zombies), Stormlight Archive #4, new Hunger Games prequel from an 18 year old president Snow, The Cyborg Tinkerer by this youtuber Meg Latorre, the third and final book from The Poppy War trilogy its called The Burning God.

I don't think the Pat Rothfuss book and the next
Game of Thrones books will be out for some time. Its been so many years awaiting Doors of Stone.
