Ok I did LOL while reading this story today. Not about the gay part but about the scene in the restaurant where Harris attempted to pull down his BF's pants to show that he was wearing his underwear.
Former San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Kwame Harris — who came out as gay last March — has been found guilty of battering his boyfriend in a Chinese restaurant in California.
The 31-year-old was convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence, battery and assault for Aug. 21, 2012 assault.
The court was told that Harris was infuriated when his then boyfriend — Dimitri Geier — attempted to put soy sauce on the NFL veteran’s rice. As the dispute escalated, Harris accused his beau of stealing his underwear.
In front of shocked customers, Harris tried to pull down Geier’s pants for evidence of the skivvy theft, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The flamboyant footballer then pinned his paramour against a window and pummeled him several times about the face and head. Geier suffered facial and head injuries.
Harris — the 49ers’ top draft pick in 2003 — plans to appeal the misdemeanor convictions. He will be sentenced Nov. 12.
