Any subscribers here? I don't pay exorbitant roaming fees when travelling. The Vodafone SIM I bought from Amazon, didn't work in Spain as they actually need real ID and takes your photo before selling you prepaid cards over there. Had to find a local Vodafone shop and gave up all my personal info before getting a freaking SIM. (Also security checks everywhere at train stations, museums, cathedrals. But I digress.)
My questions about Fonus: how is signal strength when travelling? After 5 Gb is used, data reverts to 3G speed. Is it tolerable? (Not planning on streaming movies.)
Also how does its VOIP format affect reception quality and stability?
And does it work with verification codes from sites (gmail, Amazon, banks, etc) that use 2-step verifications?
