Well, I went down to try the place out today but got a very strange vibe when I arrived so decided to trust my gut and back out.
Some detail, and I'll preface this by saying I'm quite new to the hobby, I've met with a few of the very well known and reviewed independant providers over the past year, so this was my first time trying out an establishment like this.
So, I walk in and there is no one to be seen, I can't hear some chatter in the back so I wait a minute or so and an older woman comes out to greet me. Doesn't look like she would be the one giving massages, but I'm not sure. She quickly tries to push me into one of the massage rooms and tells me to wait for 5 minutes, I resist and ask about general pricing and if I'll be able to choose who I get the massage from. She tries again to push me into the room without answering any questions, I ask again if I get to pick my girl. She says "English bad, wait in room" I say I can just wait in the lobby until they are ready, and tell her I'd like to pay in advance. I just want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off and I know what I'm paying for so I don't walk out and it's $300 all of a sudden. She tries to get me into the room once again without answering anything. I tell her I'm good, and I'm going to leave.
Is this a typical experience for a place like this? Any other time I've met with someone, the price and service is very clearly laid out beforehand. Maybe I'm just being overly cautious as I don't have enough experience. Thoughts?
