Flags flying at half mast

Did anyone notice that flags were flying at half mast tester day sat June 23.
It was the day of remembrance of victims of terrorism.

Funny you mention this as we saw some @ BCIT Aviation centre near YVR but then passed by other public buildings and flags were at full mast. I emailed BCIT (no response) and emailed a reporter at Richmond Review (also no response). I am pretty good at internet searches and I found nothing except older news. Good to have an answer from a very unlikely website lol!!

June 23, 1985 was the Air India bombing...I think that's why the flags were at half-mast.

The Air India bombing was why that date was selected as a memorial to Victims of Terrorism.
Flags were to honour all victims, not only those of Air India.
