Well Tant I would like to thank you for sharing your visit to the Philippines with us on this forum. Being that I live in Calgary I rarely come on this site unless I am travelling to Vancouver and looking to have some fun while I am there.

This Philippine trip was a highpoint in my erotic journey. This experience—and the chance to share it with interested PERB members—has been immensely therapeutic for me.

Once when I was planning a trip there, I was warned of solo tourists being framed by scamers acting in concert with the police. The end result of countless clever scams was always jail and bribes.

Did you hear of such traps? Any tips to pass along?

One scam involves street P4P girls in Angeles City working with the police to falsely accuse a customer of rape, which is a serious offence in the PI. Those accused are looking at major jail time or huge payoffs to be let off the hook. There was at least one report of this happening with an AC P4P bar worker, too, so even being with a licensed STI tested "entertainment hostess" (or whatever they call them bar girls in the PI) may not be safe.

Another scam i read on a Trip Advisor AC hotel thread. The customer gets in the vehicle (jeepney?) and the mirror falls off. The driver demands payment or he'll call the police. The accused felt it was best to settle up then & there.

The second scam might be avoided by not using the services of such vehicles. The first scam by not being alone with any ladies in the PI. But that would defeat the purpose of going there in the first place. Unless you are going to have a witness with you every time to vouch that you didn't rape her. I'm not sure Tant's guide would be up for that ; though this could work for guys who are into orgies, gang bangs & such.

I emphasize that the purpose of this post is not to be critical of what you are doing, as I visit escorts as well.
