"B.C. enlists cattle to help fight wildfires in targeted grazing program"

I really want to hear what Sybian has to say about this. This almost sounds like it could be the brainchild of a firefighting rancher.
I've been saying that for years....I know when I spent time with three different Fire Commisioners in 2017 in the air....they commented how the interface behaved ,and the damage was noticeably different in grazed areas.
That included my place.......
Ranchers have been losing graze lease to First Nations, as it's going back to them for hunting grounds, they will cancel a lease that's a hundred years old, if given the opportunity.
These areas in the fires where absolutely nuked....as a matter of fact, they had to be re-seeded by air, to limit the landslides, and other erosion.
They now realize that grazed areas had a more manageable burn, and regeneration after the fires.
So in summation .....beef is released into natural wild grass, feeding people, making money through graze leases for the government, controlling wildfire damage, enhancing tree growth, and keeping invasive weeds that are not natural down to a minimum.
With proper management , there is plenty of grass for wildlife, Forestry, First Nations ,and producers, the part that gets me is....there is no preference given to the people who are actually paying for it....but that of course is a biased opinion.
