Good post badbone and glad to see you back. I've personaaly "seen" at least 6 Filapina ladies in this industry. All have been great. Some guys have to examine their own belief system with some of the comments here.
My point was it would be hard to find a girl *from Winnipeg* who is an SP, and Filipino. Not that there are no SP's in their country...

Why would we have to examine our belief systems? We're not saying the business is shameful, we're saying that in the Filipino community it's viewed differently. Ok so the common theme here is that the Filipino community is so tight and close-knit that a local filipina girl wouldn't dare enter the business for fear of being ostracized and embarrass her family, etc. So how come Wpg has produced 3 or 4 of the hottest Filipino shemale escorts in the last couple of years? Can anyone explain why local Filipinos of transgendered persuasion are entering the biz, but local females are not?
Trannies are another story ... hahaha ... I don't know much about trannies, but girls I do ... so I don't really have anything to say there.
This is strictly a guess, but given the conservative nature of the Filipino community, maybe the trannies have already been ostracized by their community. If that's the case, they presumably aren't concerned any more about exposure as SPs.
No disrespect - I think I get where you are coming from - but what you need to understand is how "others" (NON-Filipino) might perceive your comments. From my perspective as a plain ol' Caucasian, your comments come off as somewhat elitist. For instance, "We're not saying the business is shameful, we're saying that in the Filipino community it's viewed differently" implies that the Filipino community sees the business as shameful or immoral (whether it is or not) even though others don't. This in turn implies that the Filipino community holds itself to a higher standard or moral code than the rest of us.

Most of the people who came here to Winnipeg were hardworking people who literally sent back 3/4 of their salary back home to take care of their extended family, and who also worked their asses off getting their relatives to immigrate here. And you know why they wanna come here, or anywhere out of the Philippines for that matter? Because there is a greater opportunity for their kids to have a comfortable future. You think there are a lot of jobs in a population of 100 million? When I was there my relatives were talking about the nearly 250 thousand nurses without a job there. Anyways, the reason why it's "shameful" is because their parents immigrated here so they wouldn't have to resort to that business. They know very well how that business works in the Philippines, and it's for that reason they immigrated. Not that everyone gives a shit of what their parents think, but when you hear the shit they had to go to get here (and even visit the Philippines) you can understand how one would feel shamed for working in that business.

gonna weigh in with my opinion of the trannies as mentioned earlier. i dated a filipino girl for a few months. she told me most men prefer other men. they only get married for the sake of having familes. i myself have seen instances of this as married men have grabbed eachothers penises in plain view and had a good laugh about it. so maybe its less frowned upon because theyre going out and actually doing what all the men wish they could do or with the wigs and stuff theyre kind of hiding their real identities so theres less shame?
