I am such a big fan of those truly unbeatable hard as nails characters on Television

This post was totally inspired by Vic Mackey on The Shield, but Roger Sterling off of Mad Men totally had me at "hello"
So, as a girl, this thread sounds a little crushy but I'd love to hear from both the men and women of Perb who they think of as the BEST mans men of television.. creep or hero, who do you think of when you think of the ultimate guy on t.v.?

“Look, I want to tell you something because you’re very dear to me, and I hope you understand it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart: you are the finest piece of ass I ever had, and I don’t care who knows it. I am so glad I got to roam those hillsides.” Roger Sterling

Jim Rockford - James Garner

Al Swearengen - Ian McShane

Seth Bullock - Timothy Olyphant

Lucius Vorenus - Kevin McKidd

Titus Pullo - Ray Stevenson

The character Omar on the wire was gay
So? He was also the baddest motherfucker on that show. Technically, I think being gay makes him more of a "man's man" anyway. :pound:

Duke et al

The Duke--any western or war role. Tops my list!

Dragnet. (original version)

Jeff Probst--Survivor (if he'd bulk up a little bit).

The Creepy old guy on the Dos Equis commercials.

David Hasselhof in Knight Rider (fail) :(

Ari Gold

Yups! Ari Gold of HBO's Entourage as well.

ARI ( to E who is contemplating on confessing to his GF about sleeping with a Perfect 10 model )

" No confessions, did you read the paper you idiot?? Did you hear about this guy?? He confessed to a murder in 1973 with no clues. Yeah, they're gonna give him 25 years. Shut your mouth. Do not say a word. Or you will just end up being gang banged by a bunch of cholos. Just relax. Its Hollywood, baby. Everyone strays sometimes. " :) :)
