Keep in mind that in a far far far away future you might have the advantage to hide grey hair more easily having a blondish hair tone .... Sorry about scaring about the possibility of having a grey appearing even if there's only a small possibility that it ever happens 🥴

I have a friend who looks adorable in a bob. I don’t think it suits my personality.

I’ve cut all my hair off twice in my life and both times spent years growing it back. Short hair is fun for like 6 months and then I miss my hair and desperately want it back and it takes yeeeeeaaaars. 😢😭

My first hair appointment is next Wednesday. Not sure what color I’ll be on Wednesday as it’s a process to go from black. It will probably take a few appointments to get the hair I really want

Fortunately my hair dresser I’m going to is a top color stylist who’s won awards and has his own shop in Yale town. Plus I know him from my personal life. I think I’m in good hands whew. I’d do it myself but I’d like to do it without damaging my hair too much and I’d like to look ok through the transitions as I still need to work hahaha.

I am currently a pretty dark chocolate brown. So still a brunette. But the black was lifted and then he did a hair care treatment, then put a temporary dark chocolate brown over it. So my ads don’t really need to be changed yet. As my look isn’t different yet. The chocolate is softer tho than the black. I might take a selfie later and put it in my selfie thread. In a month, he’ll put some highlights in. It’s a process to go lighter while trying to keep my length which is to my waist

Above I said id get new pics before December, my hair dresser says by spring, we’ll have my hair the color I want. So I’ll be posting selfies on blue sky and in my selfie thread here and there but pro pics are going to have to wait until spring 😭.

I don’t want to spend hundreds on pics that only represent me for a month or two lol
