I have reason to believe scammers may be using an app to create faces - faces that do not exist - then grafting them onto someone else's body - in an attempt to defeat facial recognition.

Saw this ad in Edmonton last week. Same except for the name and number. Booked for an appointment. Woman who answered the door was significantly larger, breasts shot thru with blue veins, tons of makeup, and big fake lashed. Québécois accent. I walked.
Oddly, after I arrived at the hotel, I told her I was in the back parking lot. She told me to wait, and a woman came out, got in her car and drove away. Ten minutes later, the sp said I could come up. Turns out she was the one I saw drive away. Must have driven around front for some reason.

Anybody have some good safety tips for a noob?

To come at your request from a different angle, best practice is to research the ad before even picking up your phone to contact the lady in question.

1) Search Perb with the name/handle and the last four digits of the phone number, see if anything turns up.

2) Get the "RevEye" extension for your browser then learn how to do reverse image searches; if the pics come from the USA, a porn site, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, you know it's fake

3) Google the phone #. Are there different names and pictures coming up with that number.
