Ferrari has confirmed that Michael Schumacher will replace the injured Felipe Massa for the remainder of the season.

I wonder who is more pissed off, Fernando Alonso or Kimi Raikkonen?

As great a driver Schumi was, he's had ,what 3 years off, and is coming back to a new rules. I would expect him to struggle in the beginning as he gets accustomed to the new car. I would be surprised if he was a serious threat to win a race.

Having said that Kimi had better get off his ass !

My guess would be Marc Gene and/or Luca Badoa. No way in hell Flav lets Alonso drive for another team while under contract, well maybe for enough $$$$$$$$ he would sell him to Ferrari.

He'll have a hard time in his 1st race, the cars are so much different than 3 years ago, less downforce, slick tires, V8, No traction control, no launch control.
He's also recovering from a motobike accident; I'd be surprised if schumi finishes in the the top 12

do you guys really think he hasn't been in today's cars? He would of been included in new design and testing at some point. Yes it will take him a race or two to get the feeling back but he will be in the top group very quickly.

I don't think he will have any problem at all. First, he has had 3 weeks now in between races to jump in a car. second, he knows the cars,because he has been in the paddock most of the year being a kind of teacher to Massa.
How many world titles did he win, Over how many years, and how many different cars.
Yes the rules are different, but they changed while he drove and he still won.

The person and team that should be worried is Macleran. Hamilton can't be at all happy about this.Just when he climbs out of his hole, this happens.

Should be great fun.

guys like Schumi will always be in the sport.
this has some similarity to Lance Armstrong's feat this year.
and no, I wouldn't be surprised if he finishes top 5 in his first race back–
he's that good.
