nanguy...PERB sybian is a good dude and it might be a long shot, but have you considered the person trying him on for size may have been the same as the person that picked your pocket. Whatever he has might be traceable to somebody...either way if he says he's trying to help I'd bet my bottom dollar he is. In real life he might be a shithead, but in real life we've never met, at least not that I know of.:biggrin1:

Goodness, I never expected sybian to want or need references. I've never met him and likely never will, of course, but for what it's worth, in terms of his PERB persona, my sense is that what you see is what you get, like it or lump it. He's written things I disagree with, and things that I applaud, but my guess is, if he says something, or offers something, it's sincere.

So there is already an evidence of the crime. It's totally in your power to push it and have them charged, so it would be quite stupid for them to try their luck. There's nothing further you need to do now.

100% correct. At this point IMO they are in a world of hurt if they decided to pursue this in anyway.

Most bullies back down once you show them you won't be pushed around. Works in school and after in your adult life.

It's likely this is not even an escort. It's just a scam. What better a scam than to harvest information & then attempt to use it against the individual. Best thing I can say is if you're playing on BP or Leolist, Google the number with " " around it. If the woman has no history then she's likely a scam. If she's been around a while you'll find multiple references to her. If she's had 7 different names and worked in 5 different cities in the past 2 months..well maybe a bad idea to see her.

And always check if the woman uses a text app. Look to see who controls the prefix.
