Existential Question continued...

I think that thread was awesome (still is), and the answers ranged from "because I want to", to "because I have to - since I don't get it at home".

I would like to continue this question with this one:

"Since you have a valid reason to justify your hobby, would you mind if your SO had these kind of escapades too? ....why?"

For me, I'm alright as long as I know about it. She knows about what I'm doing and she's "kinda" OK with it. She sees it as a waste of $$$ (maybe it is) but I keep reminding her that seeing it that way is unfair because she, being a woman (pretty hot, for a 40ish woman), doesn't need to open her wallet to get some fun out there (she needs toopen something else).

As far as your question, when I was married my wife didn't seem to have the energy to keep up, so I know she would never have done what I was doing lol.

Sorry man, our "unspoken" rule is that we do not interfere with one another, and actually pretend nowadays that our "adventures" do not happen. Kinda like a *wink-wink double life. So I wouldn't be able to even tell her that I visit these forums and/or that I keep "wasting" our money thusly.

Well, if she is tacitly worried about you wasting money, and she's interested in :adventures", she could offset your "expenses" with a little income off this forum... .

I'm sure there are a number of gents here that you'd trust and that should be able to offer her an appropriate "adventure"...

LOL. I've thought about that, but she doesn't like to share what she earns, so it is of no interest to me. Her life is hers, mine is mine... and so far is working like that, so... cheers!

Interesting question.
For me, I didn't and wouldn't do this if I had an SO or wife. I'm old fashioned I guess. Thus I wouldn't expect the lady in my life to see SP's either.
That said, for all the married guys on here I think what's good for the gander is good for the goose. Anything else would be hypocritical.

Kind of like a very well known SP I used to see. She had older teenage daughters. One day I asked her what she would think if one of her daughters became an SP. She told me no f'ing way. Said if she ever found out they were working at lets say an MP, she would go there and drag them out. Interesting I thought.
