Do you like Thai food?
I went to Thailand with some buddies who had been before. The most expensive part of the trip was the flight. Once you're there, cheap food, drinks, rooms, and the ladies are extemely friendly! Must be their religion, they have no problem with sex. They do have issues with respect, and how you treat everyone. First time, I spent the whole 2 weeks with the same girl, quite the experience. Second time, 16 night 14 girls, needed a vacation when I got home.
I think the only thing the "exotic vacation" companies can do for you is make you aware of the local customs/prices/tourist traps. Negotiating everything before you even get on the plane sounds pretty suspect. One thing everyone likes to do there is bargain. Makes every shopping experience a kind of sporting activity.
Just remember, things you do there can get you in trouble here.
Sleeping with a minor will get you jail time in Canada, even if you don't catch any flak there (which you will). And bring your own condom supply. Unless you are comfortable walking into a pharmacy in a foreign land.
