Ever have messages arrive a day late?

I turned my phone off just after 3pm yesterday, and turned it on at 6am this morning with no new messages showing.

At 9am, I hear 3 message notifications, and see there's 2 text messages that were sent to me between 3 - 5pm last night, along with a voice message from last night.

Is my phone or Telus at fault for not delivering them immediately?

Does this happen to other people? It's not the first time for me.

Frequently when travelling in the U.S. I have texts arrive when I hit the runway at YVR. Rogers always say it's the U.S. Carriers not them :doh:

I ask people to either call or email me since it's not reliable

Many times on Telus , texts or phone messages will arrive days later. Beyond annoying!

I have had it happen in the past on Telus. .not to bad these day
But if you turn your phone off .. it unlikely you Will get them right away after turning it back .
And it reaks havoc with the senders phone .. it keeps on trying to deliver .. When your phone is not in the system ..

I have no idea where they are stored when not delivered. . email will tell you when it not be delivered.

the messages would get "stuck" and then come through all at once

I get this on Rogers too. No messages for hours then four or five simultaneously.

I am with Bell and never had this happen.
