I know some agencies are probably fantastic, and I know there are a lot of benefits to working at one. However, I've met many many many ladies over the years who have lots of scary complaints about working for agencies, including
Being forced to offer bb services
Being forced to see clients who have hurt them before
Being forced to do 12-hour shifts
Being forced to do duos with girls who have herpes
Being forced to do calls back to back with no time to shower in between

So I think people are pretty justified in being careful which agency they choose, or even avoiding them altogether.
I have been through some very bad agencies and some really good ones. When availability of a good one was non-existent... I was forced to go independent.... it is true the phone never stops but I don't have to rush and I do everything at the pace I am comfortable with. I'm not going to get fired if I don't answer my phone, I don't have to see client after client without showering and I choose my own schedule and my value(rate). In my experience, a well advertised, respectfully run, agency doesn't need to take a lot of fees from the ladies and it is nice to have appointments booked and rides arranged etc. but I would rather start one of my own at this point of my career.

for me, it has gotten to the point where I do not even reply to texts that start with "hey" "R u available" if they don't start off with manners I don't imagine manners are going to fall into their laps just because I expect it...

More possible advantages with an agency:
- Support and company of other workers vs isolation of being independent.
- Benefits such as dental and extended health, as I understand a Victoria agency provides.
- As suggested above, being your own boss means you are your own employee. Lots of hard work.

right here and now

Many independents have this very mindset- the same as in any profession or career.
They take the higher risks, but reap the higher rewards.
Sure, the hours are long and you might never really be "off the clock" but to have the freedom to manage your behavior as you see fit is it's own reward- accumulating gobs of wealth can be secondary. Entrepreneurial spirit and single-minded determination coupled with a strong work ethic can lead to a very satisfying lifestyle, free of encumbrances.

If you're a single dude, and the lady is a consenting adult, then I don't see how prostitution is unethical.

You're not lying, stealing or hurting anybody.

On the other hand...if you have a loving wife, and you see a trafficked minor....
