The gents that are in this group are all friends... and see one another on a frequent basis in pooning events such as stags, dinners, etc. The likelihood of any one of us losing it with another after so many years of being connected is very very remote.

As far as the seating arrangements creating a problem, the set up, format and how the evening is structured releives any possibility of tensions, boredom or stress you envisoned.

So, I wonder how long it will be b4 one of the "elite" ladies hijacks this thread with her negativity and "advice" to others. I'm inclined to think that the "advice" really is self-serving in that the SP offering it sees this kind of event as a possible threat to her business.

Sanity and his friends want to have a dinner with a lovely, up-scale SP. Unless anyone applying is in dire financial straights or some other desparate circumstances, there is no pressure for any individual SP to apply. It appears, if one can believe what Sanity says, that some have decided in the affirmative.

Discretion? I don't see a list of SPs who have indicated an interest on any boards, and I don't imagine any of the "serious pooners" attending are going to post about the dinner per se....

If this group of guys are of the calibre SC claims, I would think that many of them would be interested in booking longer than the usual .5 or 1 hour session. True, some might also frequent the MPs for a quickie, but it seems from what Sanity says that most are guys with higher end jobs, thicker wallets, and true gentlemen. From what I read on various individual escorts' web pages, that is exactly the market they claim to cater to!

Youve got to remember that what you believe is the truth or what applies to your situation is NOT the truth for everyone nor is it valid in everyones situation.

I am relatively new to the pooning scene in Vancouver but I can speak of my experiences in Eastern Canada.

Many SPs do not participate in internet review boards. Many even actively request that they not be reviewed. From my experience, these girls charge more, are younger, hotter, and fitter, and they are more selective in their clientelle. And for me personally, they are worth every penny I spend on them.

Im sure these ladies would tell you that review boards are a waste of time and dont attract the clientelle they want.
For these ladies, this may very well be the truth. But I am quite certain that others on here would disagree and would say that perb has been positive for their business.

The point is that the truth is different for different people.

Why disparrage Sanitys mystery guest dinner? Hes not forcing anyone to do anything they dont want. If as a pooner you cant see the point in the dinner, then dont go. As an SP, if you think you need to be compensated for your time at such a dinner, then dont apply and move on. The evidince shows that there are both clients and SPs that are interested and Im most certain that the dinner will go on and be a success.

Just ignore the detractors SC...

They aren't the ones that attend these events, they aren't the ones that plan these events, and when time, energy, or money is needed they can't be found. They're the ones sitting in a lawn chair under an umbrella on the sidelines.

Sounds like you've done a good job of organizing this event, it's entirely voluntary, no one is being forced to attend.....your original post was directed at ladies that might be interested in attending, it wasn't directly at hobbyists that aren't part of your group or at providers that have no interest in attending. In Seattle we've never paid anyone to attend one of our social events, large ones, small ones, doesn't matter, no one gets paid by the organizers to attend.

Our last TRB party started out as a private gathering in a hotel suite for 30-35 people, then we moved it to a ballroom so that we could accommodate 85 people, and eventually moved it to an even larger ballroom that could accommodate 110 people....we even donated the modest profit generated that evening to a battered women's shelter and we still heard from the whiners and complainers that didn't attend.

Screw 'em...

Btw, I'm attending our weekly gathering in Seattle tonight, one of my favorite ladies is coming out of retirement...I'm going for free, she's going for free, we're all going for free.
