Can someone list escort friendly 4* / 5* hotels in vancouver downtown , possibly without the keycard access in elevator ... want pure discreetness...hate to go up to lounge/elevator to bring somone .

Hyatt Regency has been my go to.
It's a very weird elevator system (you have to punch in your floor # before entering the physical elevator) but it doesn't require key cards.

CP and BH both have non-key-carded elevators, but they're only 3-star (the BH is nicer in my opinion. I've only been to the CP once and it had a dingy motel room feel to it, although that could have just been a bad room)

I can tell you the Douglas was a nice hotel and great to spend your Marriott points. However, you do need a keycard. Which it’s not really that big of a deal to meet your guest in the lobby.
