Escaping the ordinary with Brooke Ivey

I recently had a fun experience that I thought I would share with the group. Lately I’ve been getting a little bored of the typical hourly session and wanted to book something different. Having just closed a lucrative new contract, I decided to treat myself to something that actually felt like a real date.

I went looking for someone that would be into an activity date and I noticed that Brooke Ivey offers something similar, what she calls Curated Experiences on her website. I reached out to see if she’d be open to a date but told her I wasn’t going to tell her what the activities would be!

I’ve seen Brooke before and have always had a great time and to her credit, she didn’t press for details. She enthusiastically agreed and admitted that she loved the idea of a surprise.

We met at a coffee shop near Wharf Street and she arrived ready, friendly, and intrigued. There’s something incredibly attractive about a woman who knows she’s stepping into a surprise and enthusiastically leans into it.

Since Brooke advertises herself as an "sexual intellectual,” our first activity was an escape room. I’ve never been to one before and always wanted to try it. I had some reservations about booking the room after reading the mixed reviews online, but I’m glad I did as it was tremendous fun!

I booked the medium difficulty room as I figured that if it was too easy it would be boring but if it was too hard it wouldn’t be fun. Turns out Brooke and I aren’t the intellectual masterminds we thought we were as we weren't able to finish it. We did come very close though, but the final puzzle defeated us and we ran out of time. But rather than feeling like it was a failure, the whole thing was incredibly fun, a great bonding experience and we both agreed we had to come back again and try a different room.

After that, we headed to Quazar's Arcade. Having spent my childhood dumping quarters into various arcade machines, I wasn’t sure how she’d react to an old school arcade environment, but she loved it. Her favorite game was The House of the Dead, and watching her physically dodge the imaginary projectiles coming at us on the screen was adorable and hilarious.

Next stop was Cat's Coffee & Cake for a quick recharge. Great desserts, good coffee, relaxed vibe, though no actual cats. The conversation more than made up for it. This is where the “intellectual” part really shines as she’s curious, witty, and genuinely present.

Feeling refreshed, we wandered over to Monkey C Artcade on Fort St. It’s hard to describe this place, but imagine a musically inclined eccentric creating an interactive arcade. Strange in a good way, we had a blast playing with all the exhibits like two kids let loose in a creative playground.

Finally, we returned to her incall, ordered Uber Eats, and settled in for the evening where we invented a few games of our own. I’ll leave the details to your imagination, but the slow build from our shared experiences earlier in the day elevated everything that followed.

This isn’t something I would do often as it's pricey but with the right provider it was a welcome change and definitely a unique experience.

Sounds like a great experience. Fully agree that this with the right SP is an awesome way to "treat yourself" once in awhile, and glad you had a fun time.

I've done a similar "evening out" with a favourite SP before, including doing the escape room, Quazars and Artcade as well. Another good/fun spot is Haunted Manor -- the mini-golf is fun, but so is the ping pong table, have done both with that same SP and just a great fun way to connect.

I've heard Pinhalla is another good one, as is Interactivity board game cafe.

I've never heard of Pinhalla before but looks fantastic! Ironically Brooke was pretty bad at pinball so I might have to take her there to give her more practise! haha

That’s one of the best reviews I have ever read! Well done! It gave us a feel as to Brooke Ivey’s personality, which I think is really important in scoping out the type of person you’re spending time with. It sounds like you both had a fantastic time. Thank you for sharing!
