@the Meat Market!!!lol
http://www.pot-tv.net/archive/shows/pottvshowse-4179.html

has anyone else seen this? it makes me cry every time... we were so close...parliamentry sub committee on prostitution was going on, it looked like we would see de crim.....on everything....if only the government would actually listen to people and stop worrying about their own personal agendas...

i support an end to prohibition on every level...

prohibition began with WOMEN making drugs,booze,gambling and sex illegal while the men were away at war in 1917. who controls booze now? who controls gambling? big pharmaceutical companies like phizer make more than any pot grower and the pot money is holding our economy up, bc's biggest export.....

watching people escaping the us into canada and the discussions of choice and democracy...where are they? i hope the blue sweaters don't pull us further into loss of choice...

i respect people who don't want to smoke pot or do sex work but what about choices for the rest of us? it's like we're expected to accept the choices THEY make for us...what is this the friggin taliban?should i fear being stoned to death....

sorry, i guess i wonder how other people here feel about it

are you still a proud canadian? i am but my faith as been shaken....

your mom says hi.
yeah we had a good thing going for a while, but alas we live in the shadow of the further reaching arm of u.s. law.

i will say though that if a church does not want to recognize same sex marriage then why force it on them? to them its not their belief. however fully recognized under the law same sex marriage should be recognized by government.

your mom says hi.
say what you will about Jean Chrétien, and while i don't think he's a genius by any means, i feel that during his tenure we grew by leaps and bounds in our progressive social consciousness.

all i can really say is thank god he was prime minister at that time and not harper, other wise we'd be knee deep in iraq right now as well. i'm not a partisan, though i do consider myself a social liberal i think harper has some good ideas, not many but some.

its a mistake for us to just identify ourselves down party lines. our biggest mistake is not being able to admit when someone before you did something right or had a better idea. not until we have the balls to stand up and set our own policy, law and precedent without yanks sticking their grubby little fingers in our pie, will we truly be a sovereign nation.

thanks for the post both susi and bijou, it was a great watch.
