Escalating SP rates. Worth it or not? Blah, blah, blah

Wow...

There's an AWFUL lot of verbage for what, ultimately, comes down to a few simple points:

1) Nowhere is it written what an SP can or cannot charge for her time.
2) This is a simple free-market economy in action: if you want to see a certain SP she has the right to set whatever rate she feels is appropriate for her time.

3a) If what she feels her time is worth equals what you are willing to pay for said time great!

3b) If you are willing to pay more than what she feels her time is worth, consider yourself lucky, you got a deal.

3c) If you are NOT willing to pay more than what she feels her time is worth then either you have underestimated the value of her time or she has overestimated it.

3d) Nevertheless, it is HER time and HER body and she should feel comfortable asking whatever amount she feels she is worth without being verbally attacked by potential clients.

4) If her price is too rich for you the answer is quite simple:

DON'T SEE HER.

Find another SP to frequent.

Quite honestly I've never been a big fan of Stephanie's but if she figures she can get the type of money she's asking, more power to her. Will it drive up the rates of other SPs? Perhaps, assuming that there are enough guys willing to pay that much. If there aren't, then the girls will find that they've priced themselves out of the market and prices will, eventually, come down again. In theory, at least.

I, for one, have a limit as to how much I am willing to spend for an hour of someone's time and $600 is well beyond that limit.

I'm so sorry

Stephanie was a great provider, one of the first I saw and had some good times with ... though I stepped away from the hobbie for awhile and when I got back into it, I attempted to make an appointment with her. This time, she came across very unfriendly and required a 30 min notice prior to the appointment. At the time, I lived more than 30 mins away so I would have to come into Vancouver and then give her a call. Each time I did that and attempted calling, there was no answer and I was unable to book with her. This got so frustrating that I just gave up on her. I even mentioned to her that I saw her in the past, but she said that she still required that 30 min phone call. Because of this, I did not wish to see her then when her rates were $200 for the hour as she said they would never change from the time of the first encounter. So if not then, why now ... I just find that Stephanie has gone impersonable and that $700 for 2 hours is more than fair for a high end friendky SP, but when Stephanie refuses to make exceptions for previous clients that haven't ever flaked out on an oppintment, its just not worth it.

I think this thread has got quite ridicoulous. It has grown to 5 pages in just a matter of days and I don't think that its worth discussing anymore. I'm just frustrated with Stephanies services and hate hearing how she thinks she is worth $600 for the first hour. I guess she really isn't looking for new clients and has a handful of previous clients that enjoy her company and she is more than happy with that ... All the best to her and she should just get on with her buisness and stop trying to justify to us perbites that she really is worth the money as she is not.

Please mind my grammer ... I'm still half a sleep :S
I gotta agree with you that this thread has gone on long enough though there is something you have mentioned in your attempts to get together that just doesn't reconcile with my booking policy which has been in practice since September 2004. I have clients that have been with me since the beginning (2003) that still have to follow my booking policies.

You had mentioned your frustration in attempting to book with me and said that you lived outside of the 30 minute short term notice guideline I require for an appointment. Had I known your departure point was outside of that time period then I would've made every concession possible to accomodate your request like I have for so many other clients before you with the same logistical issue. I would've asked you to call me from your departure point to book the appointment and then I would wait for your arrival at the specified time our appointment was made for. Telling me that you were a previous client does little for me to know how long it takes for you to come into town and for that I'm not going to be held responsible for any attempts to book after your failing to provide the very necessary information.

I'm also not going to take responsibility for the times you've wanted to see me and made the trip into town so you could book with the short term notice option and haven't been able to get a hold of me. Nothing is planned ahead of time and again I haven't been made aware of your travelling distance issue. Since I'm not psychic, your intentions to visit goes no where but your own head.

People make mistakes and I'm not immune to making them, but lashing out in this way just seems wrong to me especially since it was your mistake. It's was all ill communicated. I treat repeat guests very well which is why they return, so having to read your comments about my professionalism is pretty upsetting. You aren't frustrated with my services, you are frustrated with my policy.

I have considered adjusting my booking policy because I do realize that in situtations like yours that it can be a hindrance rather than a help. The problem is that unlike yourself, there are quite a few prospective guests who like to block off time that they don't even know that they themselves will be available for. Obviously if I book this time 5 hours in advance I not only lose that time, but I also lose any potential business leading up to that time, as well. That being said, now that you've made this apparent I certainly would be willing to make an exception should you decide to see me in the future and book upon your departure time however far that may be.

I'm not suggesting that you do that now, I'm simply saying that if you decide to see me again, that my booking policy will not be an obstacle for you as long as you provide the necessary information.

I appreciate all feedback both positive and negative. It helps me to better serve my guests in an environment that exceeds their expectations.

For my own sake I just want to be able to offer services to a demographic that doesn't have to save up to have a visit with me.
I have to take exception to this comment. This seems to be quite a derogatory comment to fellow blue-collar working guys like myself. How many of your regulars who "put you on a pedestal" are working class guys? Probably a considerable amount I'm guessing. Do you think all working class guys don't know the pleasure of savouring a woman or do you justthink that all the ones in Greater Vancouver come and see you? Any women, whether "civilian" or SP who has been with me can tell you that I want to pleasure them as much if not more so then I want to be pleased and there are many other guys in my demographic who strive for the same effect.

It seems you're equating money with class and decency and if you think well-kept rich playboys are going to be beating down your door, think again. most Rich guys are CHEAP AS FUCK. Why do you think they're rich? They'll just find another women who provides comparable service for lower rates. Also, class and decency has to do with upbinging, not cash. There are just as many rich jerks as poor ones and if someone does have to save up to see you, don't you think that they're going to try to treat you good?

I've always advocated that women can charge whatever they want and the clentelle has the right to pick and choose based on pricing (as well as other factors). More power to you. But ithink your motives are whack and I think in the end you're going to shoot yourself in the you-know-what.

After all, it is the oldest trick in the Book.

simply raise list prices artificially high ($700:rolleyes: )then offer a proportionately deeper discount.

As American Express once said, “Membership has its’ privileges.” I’m now passing that privilege onto PERB members. PERB members can now benefit from a rate freeze when inquiring for services by Private Message ONLY.

Seems like the carbon tax has gone too far!!!!
Oh, no. Not far enough, the enviornment is in sooooooooo rough shape, we have do more. More higher taxes, more higher prices across the board. This will all ensure that our enviornment is sustained for centuries.

And if you believe that, I believe you need a frontal lobotomy.
