it shows quite clearly in the large charcoal grey rectangle at the top of the opened ad
I always liked craigslist/bp style with picture thumbnails, and easier to read fonts/colours and a simple format.
Anyway, the new ers has too many little buttons and symbols and little popups everywhere its very hard on my eyes and brain, lol. I also mentioned the forced hourly rate thingy before the new site came out, and was basically told tough luck, cant do anything about it. Its too bad because some SP's only offer short sessions, or only longer sessions, instead of 1 hour, so what would they put there? There is no alternative. I'm glad that some pooners here have spoken up about it, and maybe Nik will take care of it. It was such an amazing site before when it first came out. The only good thing is being able to remove the asian spam...if only that was doable on the old ers, it would have been perfect.
Another thing to all you escort site owners, the whole social network and chat box features and all that stuff makes the websites too heavy and confusing, I know some people like it. But I'm guessing its a small minority...a nice light escort listing site is the best way to go imo.

I don't know if I am in the minority, but I'm loving the new site. The filters are very easy to use. I think once SP's start posting larger pics that will help.
One bug maybe?
Set filters to a page where there are some providers online. Then filter for online only. All ads disappear
Feature suggestions?
Allow users to save favourite provider phone numbers. Then have a filter to only display ads from favourites.
Some keyboard shortcuts. Have the left and right keyboard keys go the previous and next ad.
There should be a better tutorial on how to use the search function, it is soooooo easy. For computer friendly users. I sat someone down this morning with the comp and it was like they did not even want to learn it. Too bad. They did exclaim that they missed the feature page.
And how about sending emails to people asking them to actually use the right column ad or you are refunding their money. Having a bunch of empty right column ads look silly. imo.

i'm using windows 7 and office 2007. i've tried later versions of the office suite and they've removed everything that i find functional and user-friendly about office 2007 and replaced it with some template driven shit that i don't want, can't shut off and that won't accept my old personalized formatting
so i sent it back and got a refund
i suspect many erslist users are just feeling uncomfortable with their favourite click-buttons not being where they have learned to look for them and so they're against the changes
i have to admit that i'm a bit overwhelmed by the graphics myself, but i'll get used to them, as in reality, the site has the same features as it always has had, just in a different place
as for certain platforms not working yet, that will change too. as usual, the back room boys have promised a launch date on which they weren't able to deliver, so we're seeing a rapidly evolving beta version. in time no doubt it will settle down into the 'new', wholly functioning, erslist
Remaining Major Issues

We have put together a simple version of both the main listings page and the view-ad page. Users will be able to toggle from ‘Fast’ vs ‘Fun’ mode. By default ‘Fast’ will be enabled for mobile users.
Cross browser compatibility.
We have hired a QA Tester to go through the site. It works fine if you are using the latest version of any of the popular browsers out there(Chrome,Firefox,IE,Safari). But users who haven’t updated their browsers have reported bugs.
They are being worked on and fill be fixed soon. The fun/fast feature will bring back ers to a simple ad site.

Just sit and play with it. I cannot believe how easy it is and all the functions are great. Each time i log on i find another better way to use it!!

Not a fan of it but will get by. The chat now pop up is a real pain in the ass as it just keeps coming up.
I agree on not having to see the micro ads reposted 20 times a day.

Not impressed at all, and won't be using it much the way it is.
The old site had a very clean look to it, it displayed many ads on 1 page.
They should run a parallel site, so you can click on the old version and use that if you like.

Honestly, there are way more things I like about the new ERS than things I miss. I also trust Nik to bring back some of my favorite features, like ERSBook. Navigating the ad settings is so simple and straight-forward.
Most of us don't take to change all that well but, like some folks have already said, the more time we spend there, the easier it seems to get to find your way around (like almost anything on the computer).

Unfortunately, no matter what a site owner tries, there are still ladies who will post their adds in the wrong section. I checked the the Vancouver Island listings and there are a lot of adds from girls in Metro Vancouver. If I was going to be in Vancouver I would check the Vancouver section, there is no need to spam the other sections.

2 versions: We are doing just that for the view-ad and listings page. Will be completed in a matter of days. < 1week. Users will be able to switch between the two using a switch at the top of the page.
Also we still run 100 ads per page, so that has remained the same.
