I leave the choice to use an envelope or greeting card with the given rate inside to my visiting companion. Outside of an etransfer, it will be counted regardless, so cutting out the middle, and going
straight cash to hand/countertop works best for...ME. All intact envelopes may either get reused, or recycled. There should be no need to overthink it, unless a provider/agency/parlour has specific instruction
for payment rendered. I was once presented with my rate in a way, that set that person above, beyond and catapulted them into one helluva shared time for the both of us.........

i have always used an envelope. as soon as the lady lets me and and she closes the door, we start with some chit chat small talk, as we are chatting, i discreetly place the envelope on the table that is usually in the hallway (they always have something convenient to place the envelope in). Then i'll ask if i can use the bathroom and then we're off to the races.

Technically our CAD bills are polymer. USD bills are a blend of 75% cotton and 25% linen. 🤓
