New to this. Does everyone use envelopes?

On the SP side do you prefer envelopes to no envelopes? Should I excuse myself to use the washroom so you can check things? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hope this is the right forum for this topic.

I sometimes use the red envelope.
Usually give it to the lady with both hands,Asian style.

There are two cases I always use envelops:
  1. If the SP or the agency has a website and it mentions about presenting the donation in an envelope.
  2. If I’m seeing two SPs for a duo and they charge different rates.

Yes I use envelopes. I used to use the bank deposit envelopes until they took that one away, and I now have to remember to take my own envelope with me to the bank. I usually leave the envelope in an obvious place as soon as I am in, or hand it to her. I have experienced the response from one extreme to the other. Some will totally ignore it while others will open it and count it in front of me, which makes me feel uncomfortable.

A wad of cash on the counter before entering the bathroom has always been well received. Count it when ever or where ever. If it is a provider that knows me and is trusting I will usually put my wallet in plain site with a bulge of bills showing. As a previous post states, if requested an envolope would be used.
Providers are not impressed with johns that can’t respect their written instructions. As so many say please read add or website carefully. Doing so goes a long way to earning their respect.

My fav was a client who gave me my session fee in a church collection envelope
Hahaha that’s too funny! Do you find it awkward or uncouth if someone leaves subtly places money (without an envelope) on a counter for example? Is it a faux pas?

I’m not sure but the envolope thing may stem from an old legal aspect. The lady could always say they did not see any money or none changed hands.
I don’t think it matters anymore.
I’m just guessing or theorizing though.

If I am paying using an envelope, I make sure I add a spritz of my current cologne as well as adding a handwritten "For you" with a heart and some XO's.
I mean why not. A tiny bit of effort is meaningful.

Awe what a sweet heart. No wonder your mileage goes far.

I don't mind having it counted....removes any uncertainty.

There was a old SP joke that went something like "what's a telling sign that the girl might be an escort? She has a drawer full of empty envelopes, but no cards"

The envelopes banks give you when you get foreign currency from a teller are the perfect size. Ask nicely in a branch (Yep they still have those) and they'll give you a stack.
