Last week after having cuts around the cheek and neck that look like suicide attempts and almost shaving off my upper lip, can any of you guys recomend a good electric razor/shaver?

First, stay away from Braun. I've had two that didn't last more than 2 years.
I prefer the half round style (I don't know what you call it) as opposed to the style with the 3 rotating heads.
Also, if you have sensitive skin, dab a little baby powder on to your face before you start to shave.

razors and beards

Forget about razors ... grow a beard. But beware of electric beard trimmers. Damn near lost half my face with one of those things. might as well have taken chain saw to my beard!
