Anyhoo, back to the topic at hand.... 
Personally, I cannot imagine getting an electric bike - I'd be accused of doping so fast on Strava, my head would spin! lol
Besides, I love the feeling from commuting in or home, or riding a bike practically any minute of any day. Heart & lungs pumping, legs burning (or feeling fresh on rare days), zipping in & out of traffic or obstacles, makes you feel alive!
If I'm going to get some motorized 2-wheel thingy, it'll be a motorbike with saddlebags so I can carry some stuff. No more desire for crotch rockets (practically ANY motorbike will gun away from a car off the line), so something like a Suzuki VStrom or equivalents from other companies will do just nicely.
