I was in Edmonton last week (and will be there again this coming week), on business and managed to drop into the Crazy Horse and Diamonds for a couple of drinks. Crazy Horse was fairly quite, probably because it was so early in the evening. Diamonds did get much busier and much more interesting. I didn't get a chance to try the VIP dances at Diamonds but am interested in what is/is not allowed in Edmonton. I am more familiar with the Toronto/Vancouver scene.
I did see a couple of young guys making several withdrawals from the ATM for dance money so one would assume the dances were good. At least the ladies helping them make the withdrawal were hot. I exchanged a few words with one of the guys and all he could say was "full contact"... now he was pretty drunk so I don't know how valid his opinion is. I just assumed that "full contact" lap dances in Edmonton was a no no!!!

I realize that the dances are relatively cheap and I will find out first hand how good/bad they are, but just thought it would be nice to have some info first. I did try searching the forums but didn't find any recent comments.

any comments would be appreciated.

I haven't had a good lap dance in a long time I love them so much they are so erotic and hot. More girlfriends should do this for their guys it would make them think twice when it comes to seeing another woman. Do any sp's dish these out I'm a little curious

dont' bother getting lap dances from places like Diamonds or Crazy Horse, strictly air dances, lady dances in front of you with very little if any contact with a bouncer outside counting down the seconds till your 3 minutes are up. Go to Chez Pierre, no liquor there but the lap dances are way better , as there is good contact with certain dancers, can even get extras with some in the private booths.

Edmonton lap dances are horrible, though Chez Piere is your best bet, I used to go there alot, but when it comes to service I would go see one of the better recommended SPs on the board, a body slide beats a lap dance any day.
As for chez you pay like 14 a dance and if you want any contact you have to spring for the privet rooms they have which is 10? or 20 extra? Its been a while since I went there. So for a good lap dance your looking at maybe 20 for the stall and then 3 dances or maybe more and thats 70 there easy, and you might not even get anything good.
With the weather warming up you could try the streets and for the same amount try your luck at finding some beutiful gems, theres some out there and you can find them if your patient and dont just pick up the first one you see.

Chez is not cheap, you are down almost 20 bucks before you are nicely settled in, 10 bucks to get in and 7.50 for two non alchohol drinks, which you have to buy. For a good dance, you have to go into the private booths which will set you back 20 bucks. At 15 dollars a dance, it can get pricey, but with the right girl you will get a great lap dance with full contact. Your mileage will vary with different girls.

thanks for the info

thanks for the info guys... I guess the bottom line is to 'not expect too much' in the way of vip/lap dances. I guess if I really needed the full contact I could go to an MP however I am just trying to kill some time in the evening by having a few drinks etc. The non-alcohol drinks at Chez just doesn't do it for me... not that I need the alcohol, it is just that sitting around by yourself having a coke is a lot different than sitting in a bar having a beer. So.... I will head off to Diamonds tonight after dinner and have a drink or two and a dance for sure. At least I know what to expect and this is fine.
thanks again for the info!

You can get booze at Chez if you talk to Bruce the right way. (at least me and my friends did last time we went).

I do think that he kind of has to have seen you around a time or two before though.

Just so we are all clear: at Chez Pierre's the $20 for the booth: is a one time fee (for the whole evening); the $15 for the ladies is per dance.

And some of the ladies are very nice! But definitely YMMV!!!

If I'm not mistaken: Bruce has his own restaurant now (for over a year). May be wrong though.

For newbies to Edmonton or to Chez's: doors open just around 9 p.m. Don't expect too many ladies to be in circulation till around 10ish. But they will stay as long as people ask them to dance for them (this might be quite late: and I usually have meetings next morning! shucks! but then, that is why I actually come to Edmonton for - those meeting; but the entertainment at Chez's is fun!).
