Can one not edit previous posts in certain forums here? In the PERB Advertisers' forum, I was trying to fix a typo, but no button. I can, however, edit this post.

Incorrect, one and all can in the advertising section, just as in all of the other sections...... as long as within 24hrs of the initial post.
I tried to edit immediately after posting a reply in a thread, then tried several other browsers, then confirmed i could in other forums. Perhaps only paid advertisers can edit (err...ladies in red?).

LMAO are you one of those people that has no filter system...I seem to have that problem sometimes...I just say whats on my mind and sometimes regret it later!

It sure does suck when you realize you shouldn't have typed something that later was too late to erase!

Nah, it was just a minor typo - missed word in a sentence. I try and say what I mean to say first time 'round because there are those people who subscribe to threads and get your original post by email.

If you subscribe to a thread, or have your preferences set to automatically notify you of replies to a thread in which you've previously posted, you get the text of new posts by email.

Look waaaaay up at the top of the page under Thread Tools.
