This just in from the eastern front......
6 hours later driving from Montreal
I found myself in Toronto..... just there for a couple of days so no time to play.
Forgot how big it is but I was quickly reminded when the highway went from
2 to 4 to 6 to 8 lanes. 4 for the xpress way and 4 for the collectors lanes.
When I lived here from 1987 to 92 the population sign read 1.2 millions live here.
Now it says 2.8 millions. Still can't find Waldo...lol.....
To really see how fast the City is drive down on Yonge St to the waterfront.
Went up the CN tower and see how big it got. Driving back to Montreal tomorrow.
Guess what...wasn't bad enough I drove trough a blizzard for 2 he's on the way here,
there calling for freezing rain tomorrow. Oh goody....didn't pack my skates....the rest I have.
Hope all is well with everyone while I am gone.
TERBITE going back to MERBITE and CAN"T wait to come back as a PERBITE
PS The best way to look at Toronto is from your rear view mirror..

the 401 .. an adventure in driving. RE: the 'autoroutes' of Montreal, pothole city and the freeways in the MTL really truly suck!
Drove back to Montreal.....
Left at 8am.... arrived in Montreal at 5:45 pm
Sooo. I drove in the traffic just to get out of Toronto.... 8 lane moving at 15 to 20 klm almost 2 hrs to get out
Once out of traffic I hit...freezing rain...snow...heavy rain...more rain...then freezing rain then snow then it cleared up in Brockville.
Hit Montreal traffic for an other 2hrs to get home.
Finally mad it home....
Long way and time to get back to MERBITE ville
