See, I don't think I agree with this as the Ted talks lady seems to forget that hardcore porn is a subgenre in porn. To say this is the only porn that is being made except for her new pay porn site is misleading and obviously wrong. I also disagree with the ABC news piece as hardcore porn has always been accessible. Instead of the internet, there was magazines and videos. Before that, pictures and vases, ya know? To say the internet is responsible for the changing of requests of men who date service providers would be a little misleading.

I think it's more of there's enough ladies willing to offer more for less and some guys are now trying to use this as a bargaining position with other SP's.

The video and website gives us an idea of why things are changing. And I believe it has more to do with the way sex is introduced to children these days and it is mostly in the source of online pornography.

I think that may be a small part as to why we are seeing such wide spread change with sexuality, our industry falls into that category. There is a part in the video where two young "tweens" discuss their first time seeing hardcore pornographic sex.

It's an interesting discussion, why are you participating in it?

Who's upset? I'm discussing what is changing in the industry, don't make assumptions about my emotions.

WHY do I care about bartering? Because it's not what this industry is based on.

Bartering for services may help the lady who may need stuff done to her car, house, whatever...but what I don't like is SP's offering bartering their services ...Getting laid doesn't pay my bills.... or get my stuff fixed... Its' not a necessity. It's an indulgence.

I think it's an assumption that everyone is receiving this large number of odd or unusual requests. Some providers are just receiving the same old questions:

BBBJ or CBJ?
Greek available?
What's your typical availability?
How's the parking?
Incall or outcall?

And the infrequent:
Do you party? (almost always by text)

So, in actuality, nothing's changed...I don't know why one person's experience would be so different from another's...

Correct. Whenever I've bartered, it's with guys I've already been getting to know online or in person and I politely decline 'cold call offers'.

I would think it's potentially perilous to allow bartering, especially if it is to fix a lady's car or some other service to be completed "later".
1. You have to trust this guy is going to live up to his end of the bargain.
2. You end up having to see the guy a few more times if he is to complete his 'obligations', which some guys see as an opportunity to worm their way into a lady's life and suddenly you have a potential stalker on your hands.
As Ms. Sarah said, there are some very specific occasions where it is OK to barter, but generally it is NOT. I would implore guys to not even go there because it will immediately make a lady suspicious and quite likely decline your request to see her. At the very least, it will not enhance the session if she even allows it.
I'm a guy, and while I do immensely enjoy worshipping women, I at least try to see things from a guy's point of view, but there are some guys who make that very difficult.
Seriously, if you don't want to pay, don't make the call. It's pretty cut and dried, IMHO.

Perhaps I've misread your posts, but, I get the impression you aren't liking these new changes (though bartering for sex or sex acts isn't exactly a new thing) based on emails you have received.

After clicking on the link in your signature, perhaps you should re-order your bio and mention near the top that you do not barter and do not wish to see people who live a drug lifestyle. Maybe that'll help?

I think bartering for an exchange of services is pretty interesting but probably something each party would feel comfortable with after a few meetings and trust has been established.

Thats a great idea, sadly, the people who SHOULD be reading it probably never will.
