Dumb newbie question - how to search SP's using numbers on reviews

As I'm reading through reviews many users post the SP's name and then a number (usually 4 digits). I assumed these are for Leoslist and will put them in search, but more often than not nothing comes up. Can someone guide me how to search SP's using those numbers!

If you put in the 4 digits and nothing comes up then there’s no reviews.

Are you saying that you get the 4 digit number from perb and try them on LL? If so, the reason for some numbers not working on LL is because 1 the SP/handler only have ads posted when they are working and takes it down when they are done, 2 the number is refering to an agency and they don't really use LL as they have their own site, or 3 you have some filters on LL that excludes the SP you are trying to search for. Hope this helps

Those numbers represent the last 4 digits of the phone number. It's more about making it easier on PERB to search for a particular provider. Or to differentiate between SP's that use the same name.

Find an ad on LL that interests you and type the last 4 digits of her phone number in the PERB search and hopefully you'll see a few reviews.

Or if you read a review of a SP on PERB you can type the name into LL and cross reference with the phone number. Keep in mind phone numbers change.... sometimes very rapidly.
