Anyone know of a place that will fix the cracked glass front on a iPhone 3gs. Telus will replace the phone for $249, but i thought fixing would be easier depending on the price.

I brought a phone in there, cost $80 to fix, took less than 10 minutes. I was shocked! So easy.

word to the wise.

Otterbox Commuter.

You will thank me after you have dropped your iPhone or whatever smartphone you are careless with next time.

Actually I would go with OTTERBOX DEFENDER...costs $59.99 (at Bestbuy) and is worth every penny.

It adds a few ozs to the weight, but is worth it for the protection it comes with.

I looked at both and decided on Commuter. Defender was just too tacticool for me besides being too bulky and has a metal belt container. Check out Otterbox's videos. Are you intending on rock climbing with a smartphone on your belt?

You people are clueless! the only way to go to protect your iPhone from broken glass is to keep it on one of these puppies!!

As a footnote - I went to the iRepair store in N. Van, took a 20 minute walk, came back and it was fixed. $70 + tax. Good as new.
