I'm curious about how that works.. does the lady keep it furnished? Do they have extra things like swings or do they just keep it looking like they live there..? Do they tell the landlord it is their residence?
furnished.. eh? Do they tend to have the in nicer or kinda gross areas? and wouldnt the neightbours find out? what can they do for safety?
Some rent a hotel room if they are going to have enough business to make it worthwhile. Of course it has to be a decent hotel - mid range.

Kesha has a bachelor appt. I thought that worked very well for this sort of activity. It takes a lot less furniture. Most ladlords don't care what you are up to unless there are incidents like loud noise and a lot of traffic later in the day. Buz up seems to be a must for all and does allow you to keep the appt. number to yourself right up until the person is at the door waiting to come up.Sweet_Candy said:

For myself, as long as the place is clean and the necessities are there and the area is safe, then, we're good to go.
Once you can afford it, I prefer a place that is completely furnished and is either your home or looks like home. Then of course, you'd really have to screen your clients.

An idea for girls who take calls at condos/apartments.
I am not a big fan of incalls, however in Toronto there are several big time incall places (brothels is maybe a better word). One that I went to had the two call system - I was told to phone from the lobby of a certain hotel and there I was was given the street address and the buzzer number. (It was a high rise condo just across the street). I walked across and on buzzing the apt. and giving my name was told to come up, not to knock, and that the door would not be latched, - I should just push the door open. Obviously the agency had alerted the girl of my name and that I was just across the street.
I did just as I was told and as the apt. door swung open the young lady was standing there in the hall, wearing but a big smile with heels.
This of course gets away from the tell-tale knocks that all the neighbors can hear, especially after 11PM. Maybe this is something for the incall girls to consider in an attempt to keep the neighbours from noticing the traffic.

Some cities have Incall places that might just be massage parlors -- not like the Winnipeg places. Some of those places in other cities might go as far as providing HJ or BJ and on the phone they are afraid to provide the info you want. That is where this type of Board (PERB, etc) is valuable!!!
