Actually i heard it on Global News yesterday. It has not been said again from what i have seen. It would make sense seeing they were charged with that murder fairly quickly.
These cases have been weird. 2 burned out vehicles to get rid of evidence... You are burning vehicles in the bush and there is a high forest fire risk this time of year.
I'm wondering if there were other people involved? Have to wait for the autopsy. If the 2 did this themselves then its 3 options (double suicide, murder suicide, or mutual murder).

Just becasue we don't know, doesn't mean the RCMP has all the information they need to make these conclusions. During an investigation and even leading up to a trial, the information released to the press and the public is a small fraction of the information LE has. They don't release it for obvious reasons. That's why in a lot of cases we hear nothing then boom, there is an arrest.
There have been a couple of cases here in Winnipeg. One was the mysterious disappearance of woman 4 years ago, whose remains were finally found last fall. If you went by the news releases you'd think the cops knew nothing and were completely baffled but that is not the case. I play hockey with a couple of retired cops who still have contacts in the department and the cops have a ton of info and evidence. They even have a couple of very likely suspects. They don't release anything so they don't tip off the suspects or compromise the investigation.
