There isn't a right or wrong anwer to this. I don't know why you are pulling your hair out.
I'm pulling my hair out because you go in circles when you argue

First you say a male can't emphathize with having a vagina, then Gravitas makes a very logical argument using your criteria (younger females not being able to emphathize with menopause), so you twist, turn and keep on going!

You never know when to give up. LOL!

This is exactly how you acted the other day in the TT thread, you just kept going and going even after it was clear you were wrong.

:p

Children don't usually really require any extra special attention in regards to their sexual and reproductive health.
So says the woman who's never had to worry about your balls dropping

On a side note, would any of you guys feel just a bit queesy if you found that the male doctor who performed your rectal exam was a homo?
Not unless I caught him zipping up after the exam was over.

Good for him. Neil Patrick Harris was brilliant in starship troopers. What a great casting decision.

I used to go to a gay chiropractor a long time ago ... but that's more like S&M.

Personally I find men have no business being gynocologists as they don't have a vagina and can't relate.
Isn't it ironic that somebody who derives her income from pleasuring some of the male population is the one who said that? We have a pill for almost everything these days but what we really need is a think before you speak/post pill.

Lots of studies have shown that roughly 8-10% of the population is gay, well, guess what, roughly 8-10% of the doctors are probably gay too.
These studies are probably politically motivated. In other literature, gays claim that 33% of the population is gay or at least bisexual. These statistics are beyond fiction and are incredibly self serving.

Anyhow, I don't like the idea of a gay male doctor performing a rectal exam on male patients, as much as I don't like it when my SO or my GF go to the gynecologist and it is male (and probably straight).

I don't believe in the notion that they can stay professional. People are too easily corruptible, and who knows what might happen in a moment of weakness.

Frankly, I support CLM on this one. I've had a parallel experience with a female nurse who smirked at my anxiety of getting my dick swabbed. Perhaps she thought I was a cry baby, perhaps she thought it was sweet revenge for all the chicks I pounded up the ass, but nevertheless I thought it right and proper that I should be allowed unabridged feelings toward my own organs. A man would have understood.

Anyway Wilde, that was a bit much on the condescending side for her remark; it did put forth a basic but unassailable argument.

You guys are off topic...

...anyone who identifies themselves with three names in a manner like "Neil Patrick Harris" instead of just "Neil Harris" is almost 95% of the time gay. Tha'ts a fact, Jack!

I knew he was gay the first time I saw his credit before seeing him act.
Wow! What a great gift you have. You know who's gay just by their name. That's amazing.

His new character (Barney on How I met Your Mother) is a horndog. I love watching it and seeing his tricks to pick up women. Finding out he is gay is a major dissapointment. Does it seem like networks cast gays to play horndogs more often than not. I remember Bulldog on Fraiser turned out to be gay in real life. Mind you it sure shows they can act.
My 200 post.

"Lots of studies have shown that roughly 8-10% of the population is gay, well, guess what, roughly 8-10% of the doctors are probably gay too."

That is simply ill informed and very untrue.

The real numbers are actually around 2-3% if not lower.

Give your head a shake.

Do you "suit up" when you go see an SP?

I didn't allude to that. "Doctor Gravitas I have this dull ache in my lower abdomen and it burns sometimes yada yada yada." A male physician would give a text book answer instead of being able to relate and offer some suggestions. I didn't say male patients shouldn't go see a female angdrologist but yes a female doesn't have a prostate and can therefore only give a textbook answer.
And therefore those with mental illness should only see mentally ill psych's or they will only get a textbook answer.

And one should only see oncologists that have had cancer, heart doctors with heart problems, etc etc.

The only thing that matters with a physician is are they good?

"What % of the gay-bashing fundamentalist ministers are gay meth addicts?"
of the one's who've recently made the news I'd say 100%

on a bigger issue re. doogie, doctors, et. al.......does any of it really matter if someone is straight, gay, bi, trans....ok, well the trans people still confuse the ever loving fuck out of me....but my confusion aside as long as you go through life without hurting anyone and just do your own thing isn't that what counts?
