who the new poster/member, who is using an old handle of mine, "Stephanie" is? Your thoughts people.

What I find curious is if you asked to have the handle banned for life to allow you to change names how is it back in use? Who has the power to reactivate a handle?
I think the databases of banned names and banned IPs were burned with the departure of BobST. He seemed to know that Fred was going to take away his moderation position and compromised the site. Certainly there is some hostility coming from him as he takes great joy in making sure that Fred and the current mods know that he can come in and stir the pot whenever he wishes.
No, I don't think it's her. Just a hunch. However, Steph(CLM), I do thnk you should address the issue with Fred. The other Stephanie certainly does not share your sense of class and I doubt come anywhere near the high level of service you provide. Gad...I start to tingle just remembering my session with you.

Though he does come off as a little over the top, in my short time with him on the other board he seems to have gotten past his differances with CLM. Mind you it was after some bashing. But I don't think he is behind this, he claims to not even be able to see this board.........Of course his claims are as credible as yours.......IMO.
So what are your multiple handles? Your obviously not a 2007 newbie if you're so aware of someone who hasn't been on this board in years.

My old handle came up and not only were a few people confused but I was too as I thought my current handle had been changed. I've received hate email since the reinstatement of my old handle. These people got smart, instead of sending it via PM where they know I will report it, they are sending it by email where Mods won't give a shit.
As there are many members on PERB, there is even larger lurking population. A lurker not in the know of handles (and why would they) and to whom they represent, would likely come across a post from Stephanie assume it's me and gauge on whether or not to book an appointment with me.
This is my primary source of income and I can't afford to take even one loss over a misrepresentation. Business lost is money lost, money lost means I don't pay for advertising (PERB, directories, etc.), a loss of advertising means less exposure, less exposure means I'm out of a job that I love. That's a big price to pay for a handle previously used by me and for it to go to an imposter.
So far a few people have attempted to book an appointment with "Stephanie" and all they got were the sound of crickets. And I can't afford to be tailing "Stephanie" with posts including my signature in the vain hope that a lurker will read on further in the thread to find my post. I've done that so far besides it being tiring, it's unpredictable. Please find it in your heart to ask "Stephanie" to change their handle.
Neuronsurfer, I really appreciate your help but please avoid posting your suspicions, because you could very well be wrong and have accused an innocent person. One handle has come to mind but the thruth is no one knows who is hiding behind "Stephanie"
In my opinion what CLM is saying makes perfect sense. Not that my opinion likely matters or makes a difference to the mods. At the very least the Stephanie id should be renamed.
Whether Stephanie (not CLM) should be banned or not - that is for others to discuss and the mods to decide. I could care less. One more troll isn't a big deal to me. And at least she brought some passion to the discussions in here.

Come on Sheik. I think you could do this for CLMIt would really help avoid a lot of confusion and keep things on this board running smoothly. After all, isn't that what the mods are here for...to keep things running smoothly?
