I’m a bit bored, so what ‘drives’ me to certain places, sounds stupid but it can actually be the parking and the amenities. Parking issues are important to me due to convenience and more importantly health issues (don’t understand how I manage to poon as much as I do…..). I like discrete, I like good locations, etc. Please note that the info is biased to mainly the North Shore where I lurk. Curious what others see in Burnaby, Richmond, etc. This is general info, not sure where to put it. I will abide by the Moderator’s decision to leave or move it.

AsiaSpa – no parking in front, decent parking in back but every since they built the condo there, everyone can see you park. 3/5. Nice rooms and the best showers. No real schedule but you can call. :)
Atlantis – decent and discrete parking so 4/5. Rooms are grungy and linen should be replaced more often. Showers need work. Schedule is there so that helps. :)
Bex – I really have want to visit but parking….. I give it 1/5.:(
Broadway Spa – I really have want to visit but parking with Skytrain construction is 0/5.
Great Pharoah – limited parking, barely enough so 3/5. Rooms are okay but shower is separate. Schedule is there so that helps. :)
Lavendar – no parking in the daytime due to construction around there. Might be lucky enough to catch a spot up front on the street. 1/5 in daytime, 3/5 at night. Shower – not sure. Walls of the rooms don’t extend to the ceiling. No schedule. :(
Lily’s – lots of parking in front, discrete parking in the back, almost never a problem, 5/5. Showers in every room. Love that they post a schedule which is 95% accurate and I don’t have to call to check. :)
Meridian (Bewicke) – no parking anywhere, circle circle around the block, why do I even try, and besides, it is hard to fine. 1/5. Rooms are decent. Shower in the laundry room but they provide a robe for the transit. No schedule.
Meridien (Pemberton) – day time very poor, night time okay for street parking. 2/5. Guy who runs it is weird and I stay away. Shower in one room and do they ever change the linen? No schedule.
New Star – parking depends on time of the day, outside of rush hour, out front can be good 3/5 and there is parking below and at McDonalds 4/5 so an overall 4/5. Rooms are pretty nice and have showers. No real schedule that I can see. :)
Swan Lake – parking is substantial but still crowded. 3/5. Rooms okay and they have showers. No real schedule. :)
Victoria Street spas – do any of these places have parking. Rooms are generally poor and there is never a schedule.

So maybe I have missed easy parking that everyone uses in some of these cases, then enlighten me. But also maybe nobody else cares about this issues.

Parking is a thing, definitely, for me. Some parts of GVRD it's becoming brutal and expensive. I used to live on the Shore, left 7+ years ago just as the traffic started getting bad. I imagine now its really tough.
This is one of the main issues that over the years I have concentrated mainly on independents, in residential or quasi residential areas of the city. The last thing I want is to be driving around looking for that last spot like it's Christmas shopping at Metrotown.
Re Vancouver and parts of Burnaby, almost any place along Kingsway will have convenient parking whether on the main drag or a side street. Some of the high rises and condos around Metrotown also have decent parking.
