So it's finaly here, the hot weather, I dunno about DT by the water but in Surrey it's what one could call a fairly hot day. Even though some are; 2 in the afternoon is not when I mow the grass unless I like sweating my bag off.

I see more cars with their windows up with the AC on and many I talk to say the hot weather does not agree with them.

Myself, I don't need it any warmer than this, to hot to sit in the sun, to much glare on the laptop. In about another hour I'm gonna light the BBQ coals though. :)

Being Edmonton born and bred, I zone out once it gets above +25 and with no humidity.

Just came back from Mississauga last week, +32 and muggy as all hell, kind of like walking in a swiming pool... Praise be for air conditioning!

I aclimatize well so heat and cold don't really bother me.

As long as it does not last for weeks at a time I can handle anything from +35C to -35C

My neighbours think I'm nuts sometimes as I shovel the walk in my shorts when its -20C out.....

Having been in the Arabian Gulf twice, both times during the Aug/Sep period. I will never complain about the heat here again.

Ya I had to literally flee Morocco in June because I felt faint in the 35 degree heat, and wasn't about to wait for July/Aug to hit. We're so spoiled here in Victoria in that it never gets that hot, humid or dry!

Try Vegas in the August... 40+ degrees!
At least Vegas is Dry heat, which in my books if far preferable to heat and humidity combined. I hate that hot and sweaty feeling when you can feel the sweat trickling down your back. If your in an arid desert the sweat evaporates so quickly you never actually feel it.
