I was just wondering how many gents share their hobby with their friends. I think if I was a man, I would totally and shamelessly be bragging to anyone that would listen about all the hot chicks I was banging on a regular basis. However I'm pretty sure that this isn't typically the case. I know my thought process is so not standard when it comes to this industry and "society" which is why I ask so many questions of the "normals" I guess lol. This is all I've ever known, and it never crossed my mind that I should keep it a secret. I guess I'm wondering if the same "stigma" applies to gents that utilize the services of SP's. Is it something that all guys talk to each other about, like an Old Boys Club? And do all men do it? Sometimes I feel like all men see SP's... Why wouldn't they? Lol Or is it something that you only talk about with a select group of "Pooner Friends" like a lot of ladies only talk about their jobs with their "SP Friends". Or is it just something kept completely under your hat? Like a fun and sexy secret just for you and your yummy SP?

I thought about telling my friends when I first started this hobby but I decided to keep it to myself. Don't really care if they know. But I'm sure as hell not telling my parents! I'm supposed to be the quiet, shy alcohol/drug free son.

Now I'm curious if SPs share their secrets with their friends. Do their parents and other family members know?

Understandable. As far as whether or not SP's tell their friends, I really can't comment. I've always been an SP, it's my whole life and my chosen profession. I know a lot of people say "my work doesn't define me", which is fair enough, but in my case it kind of does. If you ask a lot of men to tell you about themselves the first thing they mention is profession. I'm the same way. It's who I am, so if you know me you know. I'm a fiercely independent and self confident person and I sincerely feel like I have to tell everyone I knkw, because if you're a judgmental asshole that doesn't accept/appreciate how awesome my authentic self is, I'm not going to want you in my life anyways. A lion has never been affected by the oppinions of sheep. I'd rather weed them out early and give them the boot. I think it really depends on how big a roll your job/hobby plays in your life. If it was something I did on the side, or occasionally I probably wouldn't feel so compelled to share, but for me it's who I am.

Actually, it makes perfect sense. I never would have thought of it at all. Kind of like "what are you bragging about, anyone could do that"? I think I get it... And totally appreciate your insight!

beyond any moral stigma that society might impose, there is that macho thing that precludes guys doing what you envision. It's hard to find a good analogy for this. The best I can do would be to to brag about your enjoyment of travel photography and all the trips you've made and then pull out photo album after photo album of picture postcards you bought on your many trips.

The photos may be truly exquisite and that may bring back many happy memories, but you bought every one of them rather than taken them by your own skill. Make sense?

Do you find them to be supportive? I think a lot of ladies (not you, obviously) don't give the people in their lives enough credit. I think people may be more open minded, supportive and accepting than society leads us to believe...

I've shamelessly shared some of my experiences with close friends and even some coworkers (male and female). Friends were very supportive but the coworkers weren't so much in the beginning until I explained it to them that this is just a different option than traditional or online dating.

Funny you should ask I have a family member who poons, and guided me to perb to do my research when I first started. Sometime we text each other and say "check this ad," I was also worried was one particular sp retired. He knew I liked her and got a text from him telling me she's back. Also sometimes find a great sp, but have to say "I saw her first" to him

Many years ago when I went to college in Arizona, a few friends and I would go to Vegas for a weekend and one time we ended up a the Cherry Patch Ranch (about a 40 minute drive in Pahrump). The brothel was a "bonding" experience. This was early 1980's and it was bareback full service. The lads subsequently visited Victoria when I moved here and enjoyed some of our local talent.

I hope Cami starts a thread on the goings on in the brothels outside Vegas.

I don't totally understand the male perspective though, and I'm probably missing something here...

Men celebrate conquest. I'm sure many guys that I know visit SPs but it's not something we talk about, maybe as you get older... but men of dating age will not want other men to know that they are purchasing favour... no matter how hot she is.
