VANCOUVER/CKNW(AM980) - A dispute brewing over a workplace lottery poll may end-up in court.
Two women at an A&W Restaurant in Mission claim they were left out of a $14.5 Million Jackpot despite contributing to the 6-49 pool every week.
Now the other nine employees are fighting over whether the two women, Tanis Mcquillan and Megan Weisgarber, should get to share in the winnings.
Trouble is, there is no paper trail to prove who paid.
Jim Lightbody, BC Lottery Corporation Spokesperson, says the group's been given until Friday to settle the problem themselves. After that he says the courts may have to decide.
Lightbody says the employees would also be responsible for paying all the court costs.
