BCNeil: I use pokerstars it has pretty much any kind of game possible.
Just because poker is beatable, doesn't mean its easy.
I found the Harrington books helpful. To play online you really need to download a good HUD as well.
Poker is like blackjack in a sense, anyone can have a lucky night. But to be profitable long term, you have to really be a student of the game.
The best part is you never stop learning.
I play on pokerstars too and completely agree. I have the basics down, have read a ton of books but still feel like a scholar. I struggle with being aggessive and also bluffing.I am a very tight player which is beneficial in that i prevent badbeats but long run you can"t be wimpy.I play no limit holdem although sometimes Omaha and Razz. I have made far more than lost and am planning on playing "live" since i think i can read people well and can put on a poker face....something i"d have to work on though is the big smile that i"ve caught myself doing when I get a fabulous hand and/or when my hand hits on the flop.
